Flexible Pavements of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Transportation are pleased to present a workshop on VETA Intelligent Construction Data Management, ICDM. VETA is used to import data from various intelligent compaction (IC) systems and paver-mounted thermal profiler (PMTP) systems to perform standardized viewing and analysis.  VETA is required as a standardized tool in FHWA and AASHTO PP81 IC and PP80 PMTP specifications, and it is increasingly being adopted by state DoTs. ODOT recently announced its interest in VETA for asphalt projects requiring paver-mounted thermal imaging – of which ODOT has let two such projects.
